As there is: Tempo Latino, Salsa festival in Vic-Fezensac (9km) Jazz festival in Marciac (20 km) Country and Western festival in Miranda (22km) Many concerts in churches and of course the program of the guinguette on the border of the lake in Lupiac. (4 km) Dartagnan is born here; you can visit the Dartagnan museum or many other churches, abbeys, castles etc. in the area. The tourist office of www.vic-fezensac.com can offer you different walks. From easy too difficult 1 hour to four hours and more. Bicycle/horseback rides etc. Motorcyclists will have the time of their life, as the roads are always in perfect condition and not to busy yet, with the Pyrenees in the background. Depending on the route of your choice, it will take you about two to four hours to get to the top.
Of course there is Toulouse the pink city, one and a half hours drive, where you can chop until you drop, theatre etc; Biarritz on the Spanish border, two hours drive, continuing to San Sebastian and Bilbao with it‘s breathtaking Guggenheim museum; or a visit to the tax free Andorra, just to give you an idea of the possibilities to combine quit/culture/pleasure.
